Silvia Rossi

The railway connecting Oslo to Bergen is one of the lines reaching the greatest height in Europe.
The highest point is located at 1237 m above sea level in the proximity Finse’s station.
The minimal infrastructure of the railway turns invisible under the silent and constant movement of the train and the natural landscape emerge.
In this video the train is used as a technical cinema tool comparable to a camera dolly or a crane.

The video reflects on the interaction between infrastructure and nature.
