The project, made in collaboration with Vincenzo Guarnieri (biochemist), explores the energetic impact of food as nourishment  taking into consideration both the pragmatic nutritional approach typical of western culture, and the eastern one that applies to food energetic qualities of holistic nature.

Three types of rice (whole brown, white and parboiled) are compared according to these criteria.

The results are structured in graphic compositions embroidered on rice bags and decipherable through a legend.

The wire is the conductor that absorbs the information directly from the raw material and weaves it on the bag revealing the identity of the food in an innovative and expanded profile.
